Mila Kunis: The Good Bad Girl in Harper's Bazaar‏

Women want to be her, men want to date her, and designers are clamoring to dress her. Mila Kunis graces Harper’s Bazaar’s April cover, and in the interview, she opens up about what it’s like to be the most popular girl in Hollywood, talks about dating, body image, and more.

QUOTES:

On dating: “I don’t get asked out. This past year, I haven’t been home, so who’s going to ask me?”

“I don’t go out very often. I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage and watch television.” “My glass of wine and I are besties.”

Do you make friends easily? “No. It’s hard to open up to people because often they’re more curious than they actually care about you.”

On getting older: “I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason,” she says, “but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I’m like, ‘I’m going to embrace it,’ but … I’m probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt.”
After her drastic weight loss for Black Swan, Mila notes that her body “has never been the same. My shape is different. When I got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones. When I gained it back, it went to completely different areas.” Like the rear? “No, I’d be happy if my ass got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach.”

She’s wary of another role that would require a body transformation. “I’m not going to say I’d look forward to it, but if an offer came along, I’d do it.”

For the full interview, more photos and a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot go to Harper’s Bazaar’s. April issue hits newsstands March 20.

Anne Hathaway Graces Harper's Bazaar's August Cover‏

Anne Hathaway graces Harper's Bazaar's August cover, on newsstands July 12th, and in the interview, the star opens up about love, career, fashion, her upcoming movie, One Day, and responds to James Franco's comments about co-hosting the Oscars with her.

Hathaway talks about co-hosting the Oscars and responds to James Franco’s comments: “How did I take it?” she says mildly about Franco’s comments on Letterman. “I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit.” “In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”

Talking about fashion, Anne says she “feels like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes,” but away from the red carpet, she is decidedly more moderate: “I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it,” she says.

On her boyfriend, Adam Shulman: “So far, it’s worked out great,” she says matter-of-factly, observing that she used to get caught up in the intensity of a romance. “Which has its wonderful side, of course,” she adds with a half shrug, “but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.”

The August issue of Harper’s Bazaar hits newsstands July 12th.

Celeb Spotting: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Shopping at Armani Exchange

On Tuesday papparazzi's favorite young and in love couple, pop-sensations Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted shopping together late-afternoon at the A|X Armani Exchange store located on 51st and 5th Avenue in New York City. According to numerous onlookers, the couple strolled throughout the two-level store hand-in-hand, confessing "I love you" you to each other multiple times, showcasing a lot of public displays of affection.

What where Justin's new closet additions? Selena helped Justin pick-out a selection of A|X's simple and comfy Pima cotton T-Shirts ($25), both crew and v-neck, in grey and white.

Justin was in the city to promoting his new fragrance, Someday, while Selena was in town promoting her new album, When The Sun Goes Down, released yesterday.

Lady Gaga In Haper's Bazaar

For the provocative pop star, all the world’s a stage. Why? Because she was born that way. On the cover of the May issue, the first thing which catches my attention is her gorgeous make-up which reminds me of her latest chart hit "Born This Way".

Read on for snippets from the interview...
“I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have. I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.”

“I am an artist, and I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me.”

She says that once she had become a household name—after winning Grammys, after wrestling with Madonna on Saturday Night Live, after countless magazine covers—she felt pressured to move to the pop-culture mecca that is Los Angeles. “I had all these number-one records, and I had sold all these albums, and it was sort of this turning point: Am I going to try and embrace Hollywood and assimilate to that culture?” Suffice to say, it didn’t work out. “I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately,” she says in a very vivid metaphor. “I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars.”

The May issue of Harper's Bazaar hits newsstands April 26.

Also, was I the only one who never noticed Lady Gaga is inked? Inside the magazine you can catch a glimpse of  a few of Lady Gaga's tattoo's. I read she had nine so far ... and counting.

Naomi Campbell Poses Nude For GQ

Naomi Campbell show she still has it, as she poses naked for the cover for the March 2011 issue of GQ Magazine.
In the interview for the magazine, Naomi talks about the drama surrounding blood diamonds and her appearance at the war crimes tribunal, tabloid rumors and many more topics.

"I don’t read the papers… I sell papers." - Naomi

Lady Gaga Graces Vogue Cover

Check out Lady Gaga's first appearance on the March 2011 issue of Vogue, wearing a blush-toned silk Haider Ackermann kimono robe.  Gaga's photos were shot by Mario Testino at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp in Belgium.

Inside there's a detailed interview by Jonathan Van Meter who narrates what it's like to spend a day with Lady Gaga. You see a completely different side to the singer you'd have never dreamed of.

Interview quotes:
"The doors swing open, and Gaga, surrounded by security, plunges in. “Gaga! Gaga! Gaga!” A teenage boy pushes to the front. “I am from Milano! Please! Please! Please!” They are all holding out a scrap of something to be signed or angling to get a picture. The crowd surges forward. A security guy yells, “One at a time! Take it easy!” There are girls with tears streaming down their faces. I almost get knocked over. Morris pulls me out of the maw and shoves me into the van, and the doors close behind us. But the fans do not give up. They are banging on the windows, pressing their faces against the glass. “They are so sweet,” Gaga says. Not exactly the word I would have chosen.

"I wonder out loud how her parents, Joe and Cynthia Germanotta, have handled all of this. “It was hard in the beginning, but we have wrestled fame to the ground together,” she says. Gaga’s father, who was very involved in her career early on, had heart surgery a few years ago. “I obsess about his health,” she says. “I’m very Italian. I call him every day. I ask my mother if he’s been smoking. They are in their 50s, and they still live in the same apartment on the Upper West Side. Nothing has changed since I have become a star. I am a real family girl. When it comes to love and loyalty, I am very old-fashioned. And I am quite down-to-earth for such an eccentric person.

"There are an awful lot of people trying to get in on Gaga’s creation myth. A mean-spirited book came out in September; an ex-lover and songwriting partner filed a $30 million lawsuit against her (later dismissed); and every bartender she ever kissed on the Lower East Side has a story. When I ask her about her life before she was discovered and signed to Interscope Records, she says, “My ride through the industry was an interesting one because people loved me but there was a very big raised eyebrow about me. I mean, a big one. So people were kind of like, well, I’m involved but not really. And as soon as I took off, it was like, I invented her, I made her, I wrote the music. When, in reality, I am completely self-invented.

Kourtney Kardashian Shares Parenting Tips

Post pregnant Kourtney Kardashian revealed behind the scenes moments to Parenting magazine, including what she's learned from being a new mom and how having a baby has changed her outlook.

1. “I make my own baby food.”
"My mom bought me this amazing baby-food maker, the Beaba... I steam and puree fruits and vegetables, and they last for like four days. Mason pretty much loves everything. I gave him red beets, and it got all over his face, which made the funniest picture. He also loves sweet potatoes, carrots, and yams. Sometimes I mix pureed peaches, pears, bananas, or apples with plain yogurt or an all-natural organic jelly. I have this great book called Super Baby Food that’s full of ideas. I should be on this Mason diet!

2. "I have no desire to go out.”
Unless I’m working, I can’t be away from him without feeling guilty. It doesn’t feel good or natural to be, so it’s a struggle. My friends keep saying, “You and [boyfriend Scott Disick] should go out and eat or do something.” Recently my sister Kim watched Mason so we could go to dinner. It took so long—actually, it probably didn’t take so long, but to us it felt like it took long—we were like, should we just get pizza and go home? Scott says he doesn’t need to wine and dine me anymore. We would be just as happy having a slice of pizza sitting in bed with our son.

3. “Mason sleeps in bed with me.”
If I’ve had a long day, then I have that time at night, which is really important to me. Mason did fall on the floor once by mistake. It was the worst moment. I freaked out and looked online [to research the dangers associated with a baby falling off the bed]. He was fine but crying, so I e-mailed the doctor at four in the morning. He wrote me right back, yet I stayed up all night to watch him sleep to make sure he was okay.
I’ve since lowered our mattress to the floor. I put pillows all around the floor, too. I am doing the best that I can, and I feel really confident in that. Unless someone has walked in your shoes, you really can’t judge. Everyone needs to make the best choice for their life. He’s such a happy baby, and I really think sleeping together has something to do with that.

4. "I’m still nursing!”
I have to eat every couple of hours since I’m nursing. If I don’t, my body freaks out. I went a little crazy for a week exercising [to lose the baby weight and] to prepare for a photo shoot, and after that I was like, this isn’t worth it. I was exhausted and dehydrated. I need to have energy for my son, and I haven’t worked out since. I take Mason on a lot of walks. Carrying him around is like carrying 20 pounds all day.

5. "If I’m not working, neither is the nanny.”
I don’t want to judge, but I’ve also met women who think it’s cool to be out or away from their baby, and I don’t get that, either. When I am out or away, that’s when I most want to be with Mason. I do have help when I’m working. It’s important to have one person I trust, so I know Mason is taken care of. But every time I am not working, he is with me. Even on an airplane, he is with me even if the nanny is also on the plane. Any time I can have with him, I am lucky to have. I also have a big family. Out of everyone, I call [stepfather and famous Olympian Bruce Jenner] for help the most. He’s the best babysitter in the world, and a perfect role model for him. He takes Mason to the car wash for “man time.”

6. “My mom is a pro (she’s had six kids!), but I don’t rely on her as much as people think.”
I really don’t. I make my own choices. When I was pregnant, she would say, “You need [to buy] this and this.” I remember telling her that people used to have babies in caves. If I don’t have something, it’s not a big deal.

7. “We don’t really follow a set schedule.”
I was struggling with that for a while, wondering what is the best thing. I think you do whatever fits your lifestyle. Some people have things planned from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., which works for them. But honestly, the best thing for Mason is just to be with me. When we are out, we just have so much fun. If we are cruising around, and he is napping in the car, it’s not the worst thing in the world.

8. “Mason comes first, and if that makes me unprofessional at times, so be it.”
Especially during the first three months, I didn’t care if I was late. We were on his schedule.

9. “Being the oldest in my family, you would think I would have been in tune with kids. I had no clue.”
I think motherhood is just about instinct. I remember coming home from the hospital and having no idea what we were doing. Scott and I changed his diaper together, but after a day, it was like “Oh!” I got it. Even before, I had never really held babies. When my younger sisters were born, I was in high school and college. I was at my mom’s all the time but never changed them or fed them.

10. “My sister Kim is responsible for my first public—and very embarrassing—‘new mom’ moment.”
Kim wanted to go shopping at Bergdorf Goodman, so we agreed to meet there. When we pulled up to the store, Kim had already arrived, so there were like ten paparazzi waiting. It was my first time taking a taxi with Mason. I had to tell the driver to wait because I had to get the stroller out of the car. I got Mason first, threw my bags on the ground, and was trying to get the stroller out. I’m smiling and trying to open the stroller, but it wouldn’t open. On top of all the paparazzi, about another 40 people are now standing there staring at me struggling. Then one lady asked if I needed help. I said, “Yes, I would love that!” Everyone goes through that. I can’t wait for the day that my sisters find out how hard it is. They try to tell me “do this and do that,” but they just don’t know!

Russel Brand Tweets Picture Of Katy Perry Without Makeup

Ohhh boyyy! A few days back, Russell Brand posted this awwwwful picture of  wife Katy Perry on Twitter only to instantly remove it. At least he realized what a stupid move it was, but seeing how the internet is moving so fast, it was too late. A bunch of websites captured the picture after he posted it.

What was he thinking? And what's up with the funny face?

On the plus side:
A. at least us in the real world get a glimpse of gorgeous celebrities without their make-up. And scary expression aside, Katy doesn't look too bad.
and
B. it makes me love make-up and the wonders it does even more ...

Kim Kardashian in Glamour Magazine

Meet your host for Glamour mags Guy Issue: Who else? Kim Kardashian! Katie Couric got the scoop on the woman inside that insane body as they

talked about everything from her career and dating life to her famous sex symbol status.

Photographed on her thirtieth birthday in New York City by Terry Tsiolis, Kim graces the cover in Tom Ford pajamas, a La Perla bra and a Sarah Chloe ring.

In the opening spread, she is seen in a Dolce & Gabbana bustier with matching skirt and Glamour’s own horseshoe charm necklace. In the pages that follow, she dons a Marc Jacobs dress that makes her look like a goddess!
The issue is available on the Glamour app and newsstands nationwide on January 11.

Kim Kardashian's QUOTES from the interview:

On her success…
“I’d be foolish not to take some of these opportunities that are coming my way. We all know this can go away at any moment.”

On her sisters…
“We work really hard, and we fight like normal sisters fight, and we make up. We’re so supportive of each other. We always stick together. Having lots of siblings is like having built-in best friends.”

On dating…
“It’s easier to just be single and not have a relationship. How do you get to know someone on a reality show? Some people think that they can handle it, and then they really can’t.”

On being a sex symbol…
“It’s definitely powerful. I don’t find myself as sexy as everyone thinks. I’m a lot more insecure than people would assume, but with little stupid things. When I get dressed, I’m always so indecisive.”

On being in Playboy…
“It was an independence thing for me. I was always by the book, such the straight arrow when it came to pleasing my parents and being a good daughter. I felt like this was one decision that only I could make. And I think it looks great. I’ll have those pictures forever.”

On having every aspect of her family’s life recorded…
“If there’s something that we’re going through, it’s going to get out anyway. It’ll be on the cover of a tabloid, and it’ll be twisted the completely wrong way. So why not tell our story?”

On women being comfortable with their body…
“It’s a process. You have to learn to accept it. You have to learn to like what you see in the mirror. There are definitely times when I don’t feel like myself, but you have to fake it until you make it.”

On what she thought she’d be doing at 30…
“If you had asked me five years ago what I would be doing at 30, I would have said, ‘Married with a kid or two.’ Not in a million years did I dream that I would be doing all the things that I’m doing.”

Mila Kunis In Nylon Magazine

Here is a sneek peek from NYLON Magazine's December/January Issue featuring the beautifull Mila Kunis. The issue hits stands Tuesday, November 30th, just in time for the official release of Kunis' film 'Black Swan'.

Snippets from interview:

On Black Swan: “It was the most intense training I’ve ever had in my life, and probably will have for anything. I lost 20 pounds, so I went down to 95 pounds. I weigh 117 usually, like today. I looked like Gollum [from The Lord of the Rings].”

On shooting Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake: “I’ve never seen people in my life with so little respect [as the paparazzi]… when we were filming on the street in New York it was pure and utter insanity. "

On her early acting days: “It was just play-pretend. Trust me, I did not have a clue what I was doing. It wasn't a job for me, I didn't think anything other than a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, a fireman, or a policeman was a legitimate job because when you're little those are the things you see. It wasn't until I was 20 that I thought I could actually make it a career."

Rihanna's Interview On ABC Family About Chris Brown Relationship

This is the first time the singer shares all the details about how her career started and took off, how her and Chris Brown met and started a relationship and when things went sour.

In summary, she refers to him as her best friend and how they became dangerous for each other the more they fell in love. When she sees pictures of herself battered that leaked on TMZ she feels embarrassment and humiliation, because this was the person she once loved.

Looks like the following rumors where TRUE:
-the fight started when she saw a text message on Brown's phone and he kept lying.
-Brown shoved her into a window and punched her in the eye and mouth till she was bleeding. He had her in headlocks and threatened to beat her up, while trying to drive to a secluded LA area.

Rihanna went on to reveal that her father was physically abusive towards her mother and used to hit her all the time.
She admits to still having slight feelings for Chris Brown but has no desire - so far - to get back with him and wishes him all the best.

You can watch the full interview below.

Chris Brown talks about Rihanna in an MTV interview

Chris Brown did an interview which aired just hours ago, with Sway of MTV about the scandal involving his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Check out the 3 video's below:

Your thoughts?

I find it ironic his and Rihanna's interviews both aired around the same time/days. Just yesterday ABC News released footage of Rihanna (for the first time) talking about the night of the incident where she and Chris Brown got into a huge fight and she says she "was only defending herself".
You can watch the whole interview here, where Rihanna tells the story from her side.

But the starlet said that the deeper they fell for one another, the darker their relationship became, bordering on an "obsession."

"To fall in love with your best friend it ... can be scary because the ... the emotions get really, they get the best of you. Like it takes over," she said. "The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other, equally as dangerous."  Source: ABCNews
She goes on to call Chris Brown her first real big love. The 2 dated for a year and a half.

Miley Cirus role in Sex And The City Movie 2

Miley Cyrus made a guest appearance in New York City on the set of the HBO shows movie: Sex And The City 2.

Though the Hanna Montana star doesn't have an actual speaking line in the film, alot of women seem to be upset that Miley Cyrus will even be in the film (mostly due to her recent image and tabloid stories involving the star).

Cyrus plays herself in the movie, and the scene she appears in takes place at a red carpet premiere of Smith Jerrod's (Jason Lewis) film "Heart of the Desert" where she has a run-in with Kim Cattrall's Samantha.
Miley's role will involve her wearing the same dress as Kim Cattrall, just differently accessorized.

Other rumored cameos include Penelope Cruz, Liza Minnelli and "Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn. The movie comes out in May 2010.

Rihanna and Chris Brown back together

Well, didn't see this one coming: Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly back together. After Rihanna's picture was accidently leaked all over the internet (the one taken by police right after she was assaulted) I thought for sure she wouldn't be going back to her other half. Lips swollen and busted open, cuts... It wasn't posted on this site out of respect to the singer.

People magazine reports:

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

At least Chris Brown learned his lesson right? He can get away with anything. :/

Latest on Rihanna and Chris assault

TMZ cited the police report where Rihanna claims she's been abused before, US Weekly spills she had bruises on her neck as recently as December:

Brown -- who is currently being investigated by Los Angeles county prosecutors after Rihanna allegedly accused him of assaulting her the night before the Grammys -- always had a "volatile" relationship with the singer, an insider tells Us.A Rihanna confidant adds that bruises were clearly visible on the singer's neck in early December. Alarmed, "I asked is everything was OK with her and Chris," says the pal. "She told me, 'We broke up again.' I didn't pursue the issue further."

And then to make things WORSE, Chris Browns dad went and did an inteview with OK! Magazine. Seriously, the last thing you want is to be letting out secrets at a time like this. Here's what out lovely "dad of the moment" had to say:

"I never once raised my hand to his mother," Donnelle says. "It just never happened.""I believe that Chris is making these allegations because it is a way of not accepting responsibility of his own actions. Somebody has to be at fault, the scapegoat, and who else but me?" says Donnelle. "He blames me for taking his mom away from his dad, even though it didn't happen like that. Whatever issues he has, whether he thinks they come from me or not, he needs to get help for, get counseling."

Sounds good right? If only he'd left out this detail:

Donnelle, who is blind after accidentally shooting himself in the eye during an argument with Joyce Brown Hawkins, says Chris is blaming the wrong person.

However, in a 2007 interview, Chris told a different side of the story: "He
used to hit my mom... He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to
pee on myself," Chris revealed. "I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I
was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day...' I hate him
to this day."

Latest on Chris Brown assaulting Rihanna with deadly weapon and other news

Wrigley's is now suspending Double Mint ads featuring the 19 yr old singer until "things get cleared up". The company stopped short of saying they will drop the troubled R&B star completely. Wrigely also added that the 19-year-old should be "afforded the same due process as any citizen." Something with which I couldn't agree more.

Worse, is that Chris Brown may be looking at 9 years in prison. This due to the fact that he wasn't booked for domestic abuse, but instead for making serious threats, which is much serious and can get you double time in jail.

Law enforcement sources tell us they typically book a suspect for the most
serious crime they can be charged with -- it's then up to the D.A. to file any
additional charges.Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of
making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic
abuse is four years.

Innitially Chris was also booked for assault with a deadly weapon, but later turned out the police report wasn't correct and there was no weapon involved. Just Chris Browns fists of fury.
Rumor has it he hit and bit her several times, yet she isn't wanting to press charges.

Chris Brown Assaults Rihanna

Chris Brown assaulted his girlfriend R&B singer Rihanna after both attended the 2009 Pre-Grammy Gala & Salute (above). Chris turned himself in Sunday evening after the two canceled their Grammy appearances. Both were nominees.

E! News:
A spokeswoman for Brown's label declined comment. Rihanna's publicist, Amanda
Silverman, would only tell E! News that the 20-year-old "Disturbia" singer was
involved in an unspecified traffic mishap. "Rihanna is well," the rep said.
"Thank you for concern and support."Per department policy, police declined to
identify the alleged victim in the incident, which occurred about 12:30 a.m. in
the Hancock Park area, apparently as the two were heading home from Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy bash, where they had been all smiles. In a statement, police say Brown and his companion "became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."By the time officers arrived on the scene, Brown had split.

As of this post, Chris Brown has already posted bail and been released, according to TMZ. And all this right before the Grammy's.

Are you still a Chris Brown fan? What's your opinion on all this?

Kate Moss On Vogue (August 2008)

Kate Moss is Vogue's August 2008 Cover and will be gracing the cover in a monotonous yet gorgeous and mature dress. Here's are bits and pieces of Moss's interview with Vogue:

"I'm a mum. All the time. Every day. I put my daughter to bed."

"I am still acting like a seventeen-year-old, I definitely haven't become middle-aged. I've got a house and a daughter and all that, but I still like to have fun. Even in my business we still have fun."

"I still enjoy modeling, and it inspires me for the other things as well. All that dressing up makes me say, 'What do I want to wear?' and, 'What do I want to do with Topshop?' It all kind of leads into the other things."

"I like making money, but I don't call people up every day to see how much I've made. As long as I have what I need at the time; I mean, I can buy the house that I want. I am not completely money-oriented."

Kate Perry Gives Dating Advice For Playerettes

We love her style, and obviously her songs. "I kissed a girl" has been blasting on radio's and mp3 players all over the world. The somewhat controversial singer has a wardrobe all vintage lovers would die for.. so of course we want to know more about her haha, even if it involves advice about being a "playerette".
Katy Perry talks to Blender Mag on “How to Date 4 Guys at Once.”

1. HAVE A BOY IN EVERY PORT
“As a sophisticated woman, you should have business in both Los Angeles and New York, and summer in Paris. You can’t just take an L.A. guy to Paris and expect him to know what the 6th arrondissement is. He would just take you directly to the Eiffel Tower with the rest of the tourists.”

2. STICK TO A TIGHT SCHEDULE
“Guys like to surprise you. Girls don’t like surprises. Which is why a precise calendar is important if you’re going to be an international player. You’ll need it color-coded. If you do get surprised, just let the other one out the back door. Always have a back door. And a laundry chute!”

3. KEEP YOUR PICS RATED P.G.“Be particular about how you pose for photos, because the suggestive ones end up being tagged on Facebook. Trouble! We live in a world where you wake up and your whole diary from last night is on the Internet. You don’t even have to be a celebrity. You are your own paparazzi!”

4. DO NOT GIVE HIM A DRESSER DRAWER“They can never leave their stuff! I was bringing back the things an old boyfriend left at my house, and I accidentally returned something that wasn’t his. He saw it, and he’s like, ‘This isn’t mine!’ And it’s like, ‘Well, it certainly could have been. I mean, you all wear Fruit of the fucking Loom!’”

Rihanna Spills To InStyle Magazine

Rihanna opened up in an interesting interview about her tattoos, future plans for a clothing line, going out, rumors, her complexion and of course.. FASHION.
Here is the InStyle spread from the August issue which hit stands yesterday:Blass blouse and Catherine Angiel necklace in this cover look.
One of her best looks–she pairs a Valentino dress with Gucci leather booties. A Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gold-plated necklace completes the look.
For a fall look–Rihanna sports a Chanel tweed vest, Helmut Lang jeans, and jewelry from Chanel and MCL by Matthew Campbell Laurenza.
A Rose Anne de Pampelonne necklace and Chrome Hearts belt add a modern touch to Rih Rih’s feathery Fendi frock.
And here she rocks a hot pink Emanuel Ungaro silk-nylon jacket, BCBG Max Azria dress, and sexy Emanuel Ungaro eelskin heels.

[In Style's August] issue is all about breaking entrenched rules of fashion and design. What are some rules you’d like to crush?“The idea of not wearing brown and black together seems so dated. The other day I wore a black T-shirt, black Nobody jeans, a brown leopard-print belt by Dolce & Gabbana, and brown Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and it looked awesome. Also, the rule about not matching your makeup to your outfit. I do that onstage, matching red lipstick to a bright red jacket or neon-pink eye shadow to a pink jumpsuit. And I also love to mix prints.

We’ve had the Meg, the Jennifer, and now people ask for the Rihanna at salons. Will you be switching it up again?“The first time I heard people were asking for the Rihanna, it was really flattering and maybe a little strange. It caught me by surprise, but now I feel it’s a very cool thing. I don’t feel the pressure to change it up again at all. I like it, as they like it.”

Can you talk about your style obsessions and how your look has evolved over the years?
“It has evolved without my even noticing it. Lately I’m obsessed with Thierry Mugler… Grace Jones inspires me. She is the most iconic woman ever, in my eyes. She has extraordinary style and she’s fearless. I love designer Martin Margiela; Kanye West told me about him. I also like Dsquared, Chloe, Zac Posen…”

But you weren’t always a fashion maven? Growing up in Barbados, you were a tomboy.
“I wore my brother’s clothes, dresses with sneakers, or no shoes at all. I would always get into trouble with my mom. She would say things to scare me like, ‘You’re going to get cut!’ But I couldn’t help it. I would climb trees, steal mangoes, catch birds–silly things that were fun to us at the time. My cousin and I were the only girls in the group. We would have to stand up for ourselves because the guys didn’t want us around.”

You stood out in Barbados because of your light complexion. Do you remember having trouble fitting in at school?
“Definitely. It made me angry. For the first six years of school, I would go home traumatized. The harassment continued to my very last day of elementary school. High school was better.”

I read that your mom owns a boutique and your dad works at a garment factory–it seems you have the Rihanna fashion line already partly sewn up.
“[Giggles] Well, I am working on that right now. It takes a lot of effort, and I want to be involved with every step of the process.”

What do you do for kicks in L.A.?
“I don’t go out much. I’m moving into a new four-bedroom home in Los Feliz that I’m excited about. Parts of it will be inspired by India. I love things like canopy beds, printed fabrics, and Spanish touches. Then I can stay at home and cook West Indian dishes like callaloo [stewed greens]. But I do want a sports car–as soon as I get my license.”

Who knew you were so domestic. Wait a minute. You’re such a rebel. In the video for “Take a Bow,” you drive a car.
“I have my Barbadian license, just not my American one.”

How will you celebrate your 21st birthday?
“Don’t scare me! I have till February. I feel like I have so much more to accomplish before I’m 21. No party plans yet. Many showbiz types say, “Don’t ever read your own press,” but you do, even the online stuff.”

What’s the kookiest thing you’ve read about yourself?
“The Grammy thing–that I brought Jay-Z on stage and Beyonce was upset, which is so ridiculous. Or the idea that I’ve had breast implants–I don’t even have much cleavage. It was just the dress! So yes, I read about myself and about everybody else in the gossip pages. It’s comedy to me; I laugh about it.”

The tattoo behind your ear is a Pisces symbol–two fish swimming head to tail in a circle–which represents life after death. If possible, what would you be reincarnated as?
“If I had to come back in another form, it would be as my dog, DJ. He gets the best treatment, all the attention in the world, and he’s so adorable. Plus, he goes everywhere I can take him.”
