2011 Golden Globe Awards: Mila Kunis Dress & Makeup

Confession: Mila Kunis is now officially my new favorite female celebrity of the moment. I can't get enough of posting her looks. She always looks so stylish and classy at the same time.

The 27-year-old Black Swan actress wore a Vera Wang dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Judith Leiber clutch and Yves Saint Laurent shoes.
On the carpet, Mila dished that she and her Black Swan co-star Natalie Portman both had to lose 20 lbs. for their roles but did “it in the most healthy way possible - strict diet, workout seven days a week.”
As for their sex scene, “It was awkward no matter what. It did help that we did know each other though,” she told E!.
Mila has been extremely active this awards season - stopping off at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and the AFI Awards on Friday!
Mila Kunis’ look was created by celebrity makeup artist Tracey Levy. Levy wanted Kunis “fresh and effortless” and “with a touch of Audrey Hepburn.”

Mila Kunis' make-up products used:
  • Face: Lancome Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Foundation, Lancome Sheer Amourose Blush Subtil
  • Eyes: Lancome Coral Crush Color Design 5 Pan Palette (February 2011), Lancome Teal Fury Color Design 5 Pan Palette (February 2011), Lancome Excessive Black Hypnose Drama Mascara
  • Lips: Lancome Coral Ribbon L’Absolu Nu (March 2011)

TRESemme celebrity stylist Mara Roszak created a modern French twist for Kunis’ feminine up-do.

Mila Kunis' Hair Tutorial:
1.Spray TRESemmé Naturals Finishing Spray on damp hair and rough blow dry to add body
2.Section off top half of hair and apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Root Boost Spray to give hair lift at the crown
3.Blow dry top section, pin curling from front to back to add wave and texture
4.Pull the bottom section of the hair back tightly and gather as if you are creating a ponytail
5.Twist hair upward starting at the nape of the neck and insert pins in a crisscross pattern at the crease
6.Undo pin curls on top section and tease at the root
7.Brush top section backward and tuck underneath French twist
8.To set hair and provide a lasting hold, spray TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray
9.Finally, to soften the look, gently loosen hair around hairline and ears

SAG Awards 2011: Mila Kunis

The Black Swan beauty, Mila Kunis, looked stunning in a strapless Alexander McQueen dress with splashes of red, pink and black. Kunis completed her look with a simple silver belt and gorgeous gold bracelet

Mila could barely contain her excitement when asked about her skyrocketing career:
"I don't know because it's all happened so fast and so quickly that it's hard to process. But it's one of those things where you come off of a television show, you never really expect…this! I'm so grateful," Mila said when asked about how much her life has changed since Black Swan.

Her make-up was kept natural with brown smokey eyes, subtle blush and nude lips.

Mila Kunis In Nylon Magazine

Here is a sneek peek from NYLON Magazine's December/January Issue featuring the beautifull Mila Kunis. The issue hits stands Tuesday, November 30th, just in time for the official release of Kunis' film 'Black Swan'.

Snippets from interview:

On Black Swan: “It was the most intense training I’ve ever had in my life, and probably will have for anything. I lost 20 pounds, so I went down to 95 pounds. I weigh 117 usually, like today. I looked like Gollum [from The Lord of the Rings].”

On shooting Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake: “I’ve never seen people in my life with so little respect [as the paparazzi]… when we were filming on the street in New York it was pure and utter insanity. "

On her early acting days: “It was just play-pretend. Trust me, I did not have a clue what I was doing. It wasn't a job for me, I didn't think anything other than a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, a fireman, or a policeman was a legitimate job because when you're little those are the things you see. It wasn't until I was 20 that I thought I could actually make it a career."

Mila Kunis: The Good Bad Girl in Harper's Bazaar‏

Women want to be her, men want to date her, and designers are clamoring to dress her. Mila Kunis graces Harper’s Bazaar’s April cover, and in the interview, she opens up about what it’s like to be the most popular girl in Hollywood, talks about dating, body image, and more.

QUOTES:

On dating: “I don’t get asked out. This past year, I haven’t been home, so who’s going to ask me?”

“I don’t go out very often. I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage and watch television.” “My glass of wine and I are besties.”

Do you make friends easily? “No. It’s hard to open up to people because often they’re more curious than they actually care about you.”

On getting older: “I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason,” she says, “but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I’m like, ‘I’m going to embrace it,’ but … I’m probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt.”
After her drastic weight loss for Black Swan, Mila notes that her body “has never been the same. My shape is different. When I got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones. When I gained it back, it went to completely different areas.” Like the rear? “No, I’d be happy if my ass got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach.”

She’s wary of another role that would require a body transformation. “I’m not going to say I’d look forward to it, but if an offer came along, I’d do it.”

For the full interview, more photos and a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot go to Harper’s Bazaar’s. April issue hits newsstands March 20.

Critics Choice Movie Awards 2011: Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis looked adorably stylish on the Red Carpet, wearing a short, ruffle-trimmed black dress by Nina Ricci. A simple swept updo and turquoise and silver jewels shined while a smoky eye complemented the dress's dark color. A black handheld clutch and pair of satin ribbon-tied heels feel very Black Swan-inspired. What do you think?

Mila Kunis looked stunning as usual on the Cosmopolitan February 2011 issue. Here's one of my favorite tutorials recreating the look. It's a nude/light lid with a dark taupe/grey crease: the perfect combination of neutral and smokey.

Recreate Oscar 2011 Hair -Styles

Stars at last night’s Academy Awards brought on a flourish of stunning hairstyles, from the glam to the modern to the sexy. René Fris reveals insider tips on how to pull off these sought after looks effortlessly!

REESE WITHERSPOON
Presenter Reese Witherspoon’s retro ponytail evoked Sixties mod fashion on the red carpet. To begin, apply a texturizing and lifting spray to hair and blow dry using a large round brush. Make sure to really lift hair at roots, creating epic volume which is essential to the look. Next, use a 1 and a half-inch curling iron to create loose waves and movement. Gather the hair up into a ponytail high up at the back of the head. As you do this, push hair forward to create lift at the crown. Use bobby pins to keep the ponytail in place. Set the whole look off with a coat of maximum hold hairspray.

MILA KUNIS
Black Swan star Mila Kunis looked positively gorgeous in this prom-esque do. Begin by parting the hair deeply to the side. Use a ¾-inch curling iron to create a wavy, tousled texture throughout hair. Allow a top section to drape loosely across half the forehead, gather the rest of hair together at the nape of the neck. Twist hair up and into a loose bun underneath its base, securing with bobby pins. Apply a shine boosting hairspray to finish the look.

GWYNETH PALTROW
Best Song performer Gwyneth Paltrow’s sleek hair complemented her shimmery form-fitting gown perfectly. The star’s modern style looked sensational on the Red Carpet, but is also versatile enough to rock virtually anywhere. For this look, apply a shine serum throughout wet locks and blow dry straight with a concentrated nozzle attachment on the blow dryer. Part hair down the middle and style hair in sections with a 1-inch flattening iron. Finish the look with a shine boosting hairspray for a polished look.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE
20-year-old best actress nominee, Jennifer Lawrence, looked hip and sexy with long layered waves. This look is simple but the results are head-turning. Begin by running a thickening lotion through damp hair. Blow dry using a paddle brush. Use a 2-inch curling iron to create sultry loose waves. Feel free to use hands to create more body and movement. Finish the look off with a medium-hold hair spray.
