His look is best defined as "highly structured and busy pieces, bold color combinations, plenty of patchwork, bias-cut sheer gowns, clingy silhouettes, plunging necklines, low backs, and jagged hemlines open to the thigh." (NY mag).
While watching the runway show I noticed his designs indeed include alot of simple looking dresses which gorgeous fabrics, spiced things up with very sexy, plunging back lines in intricate designs.
Another trend in this Fall/Winter 2008 collection his the use of greys paired with various shades of green and ruffles.
Check out clips from the runway show (; it's so worth the look because you get to see the backs..); it's divided in 2 parts below.

One word ... STUNNNING :)
Gorgeous gowns!! xx
Thanks for the comment, on my blog!~
(One of) my grandmothers works in a store that sells a lot of different kinds of shoes, Pierre Dumas is one of them, so any shoes I have from that line have all been given to me as gifts from her. <3
I would die for one of those gowns.
ohhhh that green dress is killer.
Don't be embarrassed! Because I didn't know him either till I read this post! His work is absolutely gorgeous and sometimes I feel like these kind of designers need more of the spotlight!
BTW, would you like to do a link exchange with me?
Wow, I am also now a new fan! I usually like a few pieces, but never a whole collection...until now. Each piece is stunning!
